Fondi
The
city of Fondi was strategically assimilated by the Romans
as a means to control one of the major routes from the
south "Via Appia" to Rome. Fondi also was the
birthplace to the Emperor Galba. Today Fondi is a center
of world commerce for distribution of produce.

Terracina
Dominated
by the ruins of the great temple of Giove Anxur, Terracina
is the metaphorical begining of the south of Italy. Curzio
Malaparte says that "as soon one passes through the
door of the city (Sun Door) the colors and flavors start
to change, becoming the colors and the flavors of the
south."
